Herradura Reposado Tequila is widely celebrated as the world's very first commercially produced reposado tequila, introduced by Casa Herradura in 1974. Crafted from 100% blue Weber agave in the volcanic lowlands of Amatitán, Jalisco, it is unique for being aged for 11 months in charred American white oak barrels—nine months longer than the industry standard for the reposado category.
